In 2015, more than 36 million people live with HIV / AIDS in the world, access to antiretroviral therapy (ART) has doubled and 54% of PLHIV have access to ART. Mortality has dropped by 25% in five years: 1.1 million deaths are related to HIV / AIDS in 2015. In the framework of the Grant of the Global Fund and at the request of CNLS, Solthis is coordinating the first investigation in Guinea at a national level on HIV resistance to anti-retrovirals, on compliance to antiretroviral treatment and on viral hepatitis. This investigation will be starting the 1st of October for 1 year.
