Diagnosis and Planning of the Health Information System and Supply Chain.
Objectives
- Carry out a needs assessment of the monitoring-evaluation system and draw up a global strengthening action plan
- Carry out an inventory of the situation of the supply system at central level and draw up an action plan to strengthen the system over the long term
- Provide technical assistance on supply issues during the Round 2 negotiations
Activities
- On-site (2 missions of 10 days per expert) and remote TA
- Development of quantification tools
- Interviews with key actors in SIS and supply at different levels
- Assessment of the adequacy between data collection tools and information needs at different levels of the health system
- Assessment of tools used in SIS and supply at different levels
- Participation in coordination meetings at national level
- On-site observation and interviews with health personnel
- Analysis of normative documents available in Sierra Leone
- Organization of a workshop to share the findings of the mission and develop a strengthening plan
