Diagnosis and Planning of the Health Information System and Supply Chain.

 

Objectives

  • Carry out a needs assessment of the monitoring-evaluation system and draw up a global strengthening action plan
  • Carry out an inventory of the situation of the supply system at central level and draw up an action plan to strengthen the system over the long term
  • Provide technical assistance on supply issues during the Round 2 negotiations

 

Activities

  • On-site (2 missions of 10 days per expert) and remote TA
  • Development of quantification tools
  • Interviews with key actors in SIS and supply at different levels
  • Assessment of the adequacy between data collection tools and information needs at different levels of the health system
  • Assessment of tools used in SIS and supply at different levels
  • Participation in coordination meetings at national level
  • On-site observation and interviews with health personnel
  • Analysis of normative documents available in Sierra Leone
  • Organization of a workshop to share the findings of the mission and develop a strengthening plan
