On 28 July 2026, Solthis will take part in AIDS 2026 – the 26th International AIDS Conference, held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and online from 26 to 31 July 2026.
As part of the satellite session “Adapting AHD for Routine Care and Outbreak Response: Country Implementation Experiences”, Solthis will contribute to discussions on improving the prevention, diagnosis and management of Advanced HIV Disease (AHD) in resource-limited settings. Drawing on the experience of the IMPAACT4HIV project, implemented with the support of Unitaid and partners, Solthis will share practical lessons on integrating AHD care into routine HIV services and strengthening health systems in the face of emerging health threats such as mpox.
Bringing together researchers, healthcare professionals, policy-makers, community representatives and implementing partners, the session will highlight innovative, integrated approaches to improving access to life-saving care for people living with HIV.
