From September 2 to 5, 2026, Conakry, Guinea, will host the 12th African Conference on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (ACSHR 2026). This year’s conference will focus on the theme: *“Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights of Adolescents and Young People in Africa in the Face of Multifaceted Crises.”
Against a backdrop of declining funding, humanitarian crises, the effects of climate change, and the rise of anti-rights movements, this conference will bring together stakeholders from across Africa to strengthen coordination, share knowledge, and promote concrete responses in support of the sexual and reproductive health and rights of adolescents and young people. The event will place particular emphasis on their leadership and participation in decisions that affect them.
Solthis is proud to contribute to the organization of this edition as a member of the Regional Technical Organizing Committee (COTECH). The organization also represents COTECH on the National Organizing Committee (CNO) in Guinea, alongside Enabel. This commitment reflects Solthis’s dedication to a human rights-based approach and to strengthening regional efforts in the area of sexual and reproductive health and rights.
