The 13th International Francophone Conference on HIV, Hepatitis and Emerging Infections (AFRAVIH) will be held from 4 to 7 May 2026 in Lausanne, Switzerland.
It will bring together health professionals, researchers, community actors and decision-makers involved in:
- the fight against HIV/AIDS, viral hepatitis, STIs and emerging viruses.
- the promotion of sexual and reproductive health.
- strengthening equitable access to care, particularly for the most exposed and discriminated populations.

- Community-based approach to cervical cancer prevention in Guinea: experiences with film discussions, health education and self-gynaecology
- Strategies for cervical cancer screening among sex workers in Côte d’Ivoire and Guinea

- An oral presentation of the overall results of the IPOP project

Three presentations on our empowerment methodologies:
- Self-care workshops as a lever for empowering sex workers in Côte d’Ivoire
- Introduction of a menstrual disc as part of self-care workshops to reduce risky practices during menstruation among sex workers in Côte d’Ivoire
- Empowerment workshops as an innovative and participatory method of HIV prevention and access to sexual and reproductive health care
